Founded in 1932, local lore has it that the founder initially carved the first few golf holes into these hoosier hills around 1903 simply for the personal enjoyment of his family and close friendsFrom that simple beginning t?he Club has continued to be a peaceful and treasured local hallmark for over 100 years.
Limberlost welcomes golfers of all ages and skill levels. We're unpretentious and we won't rush your experience. We prefer not to reserve tee times. We understand that when you're at the lake or the club, it is not about the clock. We accommodate groups of all ages and sizes.
Limberlost's Club House operates a full bar with a classic golf vibe. Our cozy fireplace room invites you to stay and relax long after your round is done. Perhaps a comfortable game of backgammon in our game room will help to pass the time.
Limberlost Golf Club is located just south of Rome City, about one half of a mile east of State Road 9 on 900 North. It is roughly one mile west of the Gene Stratton-Porter Historical Site.
